If you missed practice tonight, YOU MISSED IT!  Absolute bonkers!  50 + riders, prizes, pick-up races, 50-50 raffle, free pizza, pepsi, and ice-cream cake for Ryan Hullinger's 17th Birthday!  The G-Town posse rolled in about 7 deep and set it off!  A mom's race, several prizes, absolute pandemonium!  If that is any indication of the turn-out for Sunday's race we will be OFF THE HOOK.

Keep in mind this Sunday will be another double header.  That's right, two full races back to back. The show starts at Noon (registration) and races will start at 2pm sharp!  The second race will begin around 3:30pm.  Be there early to sign up and race.

Raffle tickets are still on sale for our MD State BMX fundraiser. 

We are always looking for trophy sponsors and donated raffle prizes to give out at races. No prize is too small.  I'll give a free short sleeve T-shirt for every trophy sponsor you can secure.

We have a little 17th birthday planned for Ryan Hullinger on Friday night.  HBMX will be supplying Pizza and Ice Cream Cake to those at practice on Friday evening.  ;) 

Took a little trip to Winchester VA for their Bob Warnicke Scholarship Race Saturday night.  HBMX riders made a good showing and there were several new BMX riders too. The pics from the night can be seen by CLICKING HERE!

If the weather stays like nice, we WILL be having a practice tonight.  The track may need some work at some spots but we should be good to go.

NOTE: Our cancelled race will be made up with a double race on June 1

We are not racing over the Memorial Day weekend.

HBMX is FULLY stocked on clothing/hats. We have every size/color is short and long sleeve tees as well as a NEW Flame design long sleeve tee!  We are also stocking FLY racing gloves at the track for those bare handed riders.  Ask at the Registration Office for details and samples or check out our PRODUCTS page!  All proceeds benefit Hagerstown BMX.

Tonights practice is cancelled due to rain.

Regardless of Rain, Marty Wastler turns 40 today!  Wish him a happy birthday when you see him!

Todays race has been cancelled. The weather has not been on our side this season...Rain and Thunderstorms are currently in the area and look like they'll be around for a few more hours.

 We will hold a double race on June 1 as a make-up for today.

 

Due to the rain from last night/today and more in the forecast, tonight's practice has been cancelled.  The weather looks promising for Sunday so keep your fingers crossed and we'll see you there.  Please do not allow your children or others to ride on our track if it is wet/muddy.  It takes a lot more time to fix it up than it does to mess it up.  Thanks

Due to the excessive amount of rain we received the past few days, Wednesday's practice will be a work session to help fix the track and get the ruts out that were caused by the rain and joyriders on the track while it was wet.  If we get things done in time, we'll be able to ride some too hopefully.  Please lend a hand as you are able to.

The 2008 season is underway!  A long day in the sun for us at HBMX yesterday.  We were spared the forecasted rain on Saturday,  got the track smoothed out, and we began using our new computer system for the Double Race-day.  We had 41 riders in total (even with a few absentees because of the contest at Cluggys). 

 The highlight of race #2 was Sean Benton's first race on a borrowed bike, loaner helmet...not to mention borrowed shoes and gloves too!  He's in the  Army Reserve's and raced in uniform! Hopefully we'll have some pictures submitted for the site depicting different parts of the longest day in HBMX!
