There are just 2 qualifiers left for the 2008 Maryland State Points Series, still time for some riders to join in.  If you've done at least one qualifier and one local race up to this point, it is still possible to complete the series, requiring 3 Qualifiers and 5 locals at a MD BMX track before August 24.

If your name appears on the list, consider checking on the requirements and help us represent Maryland at this year's Presidents Cup race in Lexington VA! 

Well, we pulled off another one.  BIG day of racing...only 10 motos but every one was straight up, action packed including the 1st G-town Challenge.  Chad Cordell took top honors in that one.  The next stop for that tour is Winchester BMX.  Check their site for additional details.

Lots o' people at the track tonight practicing up for a big racing weekend.  Check us out on Sunday for the first round of the G-Town Invitational Series, brought to you by GTOWNBMX.COM

This weekend's race is sponsored by Genuine Gold, located in Owings Mills MD and should be a big event, despite some riders attending  the VA qualifier in Winchester. 

 If you're able to lend a hand with some track preparation, we will be there around 11am to get some rain induced damage straightened up.

A BIG weekend of racing has come to a close.  State Qualifier races both Saturday and Sunday with a great turn-out at both Riverside and Hagerstown.

 Almost 60 riders showed up at each race and the action was bonkers!  From 3 yr olds to 46 yr olds and everything in between.

The next Qualifier weekend will be Aug 16/17.  For more info on Maryland BMX check their website at www.MDBMX.org

Wow...Just enough time to get two sets of motos in and make it official!  Then the skies opened up.  I was looking forward to the third set of motos too :/

 Thanks to all who came out and braved the heat....then the rain to make it an overall successful race day.

Keep in mind that July 19/20 will be another Maryland State Qualifier weekend with a race on Sat evening at Riverside and Sunday afternoon at Hagerstown.  Hopefully we'll have a strong turn out and have as good of racing as we did today.

Also note that Riverside will be changing over to Thurs evening races so riders will have a chance to go to PA and Winchester on Saturday evenings...and those riders can check out Riverside on their off nights.

We had a big practice night tonight!  Hopefully we'll have a busy July/August with our races as well.

 Keep in mind we will NOT be holding practice this Friday, July 4th due to the Fireworks/Party at Fairgrounds park.  The park will be having entertainment stating at 6pm and fireworks display at 9:30pm...see you there.
