Well, after a LONG weekend of bikes and cars, it's come to a close.  I've posted pics from this weekend's racing on the AOL site.  Also we hosted a VW/Bike show on Saturday at the fairgrounds as well as an open house at HBMX. For more info and pictures CLICK HERE!

Upcoming events:

We will not be racing over the Labor Day weekend so you can spend some time with your families and/or attend the Grands in Kentucky.  We'll be back to racing on Sept 7.  

We will be holding our annual family picnic on Sunday Sept 14 (following the local race) at the NorthWest Pavillion (closest to the track) at Fairgrounds Park.  We will provide, meats, drinks, and utensils, and we're asking families to sign up to bring a covered dish or dessert.  Look for the sign up sheet in the Registration Office at the track at an upcoming practice or race or click here to email Diane.

The State Championship will be held at Riverside BMX on Sept 27.  We're looking for a record breaking year with a great ridership, don't miss it.

BIG day of racing with 71 Riders signed up and riding hard all day.  For the story in pictures, check out the AOL photo page!

We're planning on holding a double local race on Aug 24th so riders will be able to complete enough local races between Riverside's double race on the 23rd and HBMX on the 24th, which is the deadline for local race completion.

 As a reminder, we will be holding practice on TUE and WED this week.  We're also trying to round up some help for covering and arranging the new hay bales on both of those nights as well.

Hagerstown BMX will be hosting a local race this weekend brought to you by Younger Toyota.  The weather looks like it will be in our favor so bring a bike, lawn chair, some water and get ready to rumble!

We will be mixing up our practice schedule this week (4th-9th).  We will be holding practice on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY (Aug 5/6) this week but we will NOT be holding practice on FRIDAY Aug 8th due to the number of racers and families heading to Pottstown PA for the big race.  Please spread the word to those who don't check the website regurlarly.
