We're getting ready to start planning and scheduling a new season of racing at HBMX.  We'll be looking to do some upgrades to our track this season as well.  The main thing we'll be in need of is dirt (clean clay or clay/topsoil mix) and people who are willing to lend a hand to help when Spring rolls around.  If you know of anyone who can donate clay or sell it cheap, please keep us in mind.  Probably late March or Early April is the best time for additions and upgrades.  We need your help...and maybe your dirt!

Our Organizational meeting for the MD State Series is being held on Sunday Feb 8 at 2pm at Weavers Restaurant in Hancock MD.  Anyone is welcome to attend.  After dates/times are confirmed we will post up our 2009 schedule including our State Series.

We're arranging a time/place for a local HBMX meeting as well.  It will be late Feb or early March probably held at the Fairgrounds in the Police Athletic League building. We'll keep you posted as a date/time is finalized.

If anyone is planning on attending the Buckeye Nationals in Columbus OH on Feb 14, 15 or the Spring National in Tennessee on Feb 28-March 1 feel free to contact me and I'll get you in touch with other riders that may be attending, or post up on our guestbook, or even start a thread on the Flickr page.

In the meantime, we're finalizing our 2009 race schedule and getting ready to plan a February organizational meeting.  Dates and times will be posted when they become finalized.

We're in the process of putting together the 2009 Schedule including the MD State Series.  There is a meeting for the State BMX Series scheduled for Sun February 8th at 2pm at Weavers Restaurant in Hancock.  We're looking for volunteers to help keep MD BMX Fresh and Exciting for the kids.  There are positions open on the board if you or someone you know is able to help out, let us know.
