Tonights practice is cancelled (Fri June 26( due to severe thunderstorms

HBMX will also NOT be holding practice on Fri July 3rd due to the Holiday weekend.

Hopefully we be good to go for our next race on Sunday July 5th!

Don't miss the Pro Clinic being held tomorrow evening (Tues June 23) at Winchester BMX.  Percy Owens and Chad Powers will be on hand to demonstrate and coach you on pro racing skills and techniques.  Registration begins at 5:30pm and the clinic will start at 6pm.  Cost is $20/person with a goodie bag for all entries.

 Regular open practices are scheduled for Wed and Fri evenings this week at HBMX.

Stars and Stripes National at South Park PA this weekend so we will not be holding local races.

Looks like tonight will be a wash, hopefully it will dry out for Friday. So go ride flatland in your local parking garage. Or buy some parts and upgrade your bike. Or sit around and play video games. Or sit around and drink frostys.

61 riders and 21 moto's made up todays state qualifier!! Awesome racing action from all ages including 4 year old Connor Hartlove first main WIN!! Ryan and Cody Battled hard in Expert class. Tony the Tiger and Dan Grooms fought hard in a combined 18-44 year old novice class with dan winning the main. Casey 911 was the man to beat in 13 novice and nobody could do it. In Girls it was all about Julia Goolia winning both cruiser and 20". Mc Phils restaurant catered the race and good food was ate by all. Groove Merchants vended and donoted parts for 50-50. Thanks to everyone who helped out and hopefully we can get some practice in this week.

Looks like the rain may play havoc with our work days and practice days at the track this week.  Looks like tonights a washout.  Hopefully the weekend weather will cooperate and we can run our Qualifiers on Sat and Sun.

Great Day of racing today!  40 + riders and lots of new faces as well as a few ol' favorites.  If you missed the 30+ 20" class, the Cody Derrick showdown or Deshawn...then you just missed out.

 We're holding practices at the track on Wed and Fri and holding work nights on Tues and Thurs.  Please lend a hand as you are able to. 

Keep in mind, we have a big MD State Qualifier weekend on the horizon.  Make sure you're on you game and ready to race!  See you there!

With yesterday's and today's rain it looks like practice will be a wash-out.  However, the weather looks promising for our race on Sunday.  We'll post any updates here as they are available.

Wow, what a day!  50 + riders from 4 to 43 yrs old!  A great assortment of new riders and old favorites and even a "Local Thug" challenge with 5 locals squaring off with a variety of racing and jumping contests for a chance to will an official Major League Kickball T-shirt!  Awesome day.  Thanks to all who helped make it an exciting success!  Check for upcoming pics on the RACE PICS link on the HBMX pics page.   See you this Sunday to do it all again!  Keep in mind the first MD State Qualifier weekend is coming up on June 13/14th!
