Todays State Qualifier has been cancelled due to rain.  We've re-scheduled it for next Sunday August 2.  Registration 12:00pm -1:15pm, Race time 2pm

Hopefully things will dry up for us by then.

Practices will be held this week (weather pending) on Wed and Fri evenings.

BIG weekend of BMX racing happenin' 'round here!

If you missed the race at Riverside today, fear not...HBMX will be holding a State Qualifier race tomorrow!  Gates open at noon, racing starts at 2pm...be there by 1:15pm to register!!!

Things are amping up for our VW Car and Custom/classic bicycle show on August 22.  Be sure to attend.  HBMX locals and all NBL members will be admitted for free...maybe we can coax you into helping out too?!  Check with Brian at the track or www.myspace.com/warwagens for more details

Tiss true practice will be called off for this evening. Thats probably OK with John Stanton after the digger he took Wednesday getting RAD for the ladies. But I got a feeling racing action will be out of control on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!! I know for a fact there has been some heavy training happening in the Old guy division and younger classes as well. I have special theme music planned for the relay races it will be CRAZY. So go get ready all happens sunday.If you are looking for some racing action on Saturday its a Warnickie weekend with a race at Woodbridge at 12pm and another at Winchester at 7pm. Sure to be some car pooling happening there. See you sunday ( live fast ride faster).

With great weather during the past week our practice sessions were jam packed...Friday nights highlights were of course the Relay Races which have to be seen to be believed.  John Stanton got MVP for the night.  Ian Gervasio is back from IR and is killin' it too.

Hopefully the weather will hold out for tonights double race in Winchester VA because it sounds like it will be the "place to be" tonight!

Also, our annual family picnic has been scheduled for Sunday Sept 13 and will be held immediately after the races that day.  More details will follow but in the past HBMX has supplied the main course(s) and we've asked families to bring a covered dish.  Always a great time with our extended BMX families.

We're off this weekend but back to racing on the 19th and lets not forget the MD qualifier weekend on the 25/26th too!

ALSO: Coming on Wed July 15th,  Stileman Clinic at Riverside BMX.  10am-4pm, with Colin Stiles. Goodie Bag and Lunch included... $60/per rider.  Pre-registration is preferred

The July 5th installment of HBMX was off the hook!  45 Racers and great racing action.  Highlights include:  The 7 yr old rookie class, the cruiser class showdown, the 18 up 20" class, and the 4 opens to clo se out the day.  Also debuting was the exepition relay races at halftime as well as McPhils concessions!  Awesome weather, awesome time.  Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.  Pic should be posted on the shutterfly site tonight!

Keep in mind although we are NOT holding practice on Friday July 3, we WILL be holding a race on SUNDAY  JULY 5.  Don't stay up too late celebrating Independance Day and miss out on some GREAT racing action.  Keep on top of your game for upcoming State Qualifiers etc. etc.
