Because of the Regional race at Woodward PA we will not be holding practice on Fri Sept 25.  We will resume practices on Wed Sept 30.

Nigel Hopkinson is scheduled to do a clinic at HBMX on Saturday Oct 3.  Time TBD.  Stay tuned!

We wish all riders attending the Woodward Race this weekend the best of luck...HBMX Represent!  ;)

Sept/Oct haps

Here's whats goin on at HBMX.  Big double header race today sponsored by River City Cycles in Williamsport MD.  Trophies for both races...do one or BOTH.  Registration begins at noon...races start at 2pm.  Raffle prizes, great food.  Fun for all.

We are officially entered in the Annual Mummers parade that will be held at 6pm on Saturday Oct 31.  We will need your help to construct the float the day of the parade.  Only those who sign up in advance and are willing to help get the float together will be able to ride along.  It's worth the effort every year as you can be a superstar for the night in front of 50-100,000 spectators along the 3 miles stretch.  See a HBMX representative at an upcoming race or practice session for details

On another note, Chad Harner had a bike stolen last night in Greencastle PA, from his truck.  We were at the annual G-Town backyard Jam.  The bike is a silver MCS tracer race bike with an S & M american flag stem and XLT slam bars.  If you see the bike or know of its whereabouts contact us immediately.  Thanks

Note that due to the Regional race in Woodward PA next weekend we will not be racing at HBMX.  The next race will be the State Championship on Oct 4th, including the Intense BMX Raffle bike drawing and end of the season awards for the 2009 MD State Points Series!  Plan to be there!

Wash out

Looks like practice will be a wash out for today.  Looks like it will be worth it because the weekend looks great.

Don't forget the big race this weekend as well as our family picnic afterwards.  The race is a Quad points local with a $15 registration fee....the picnic...well, it's free thanks to our fund-raisers and volunteers.  Please bring something to snack on during the day as we will only be selling drinks, candy, chips so we can use our grill/food for the picnic after the race.

See you Sunday.

Practice

Looks like a gloomy week of weather ahead.  Hopefully the clouds will give way and let us have some practice sessions this week.  If you are coming to the track Wed, be aware that the city is doing repairs on North Cannon Ave so alternative routes may be neccessary.  If so we will open the lower gate at the track so you can enter the park from Cleveland Ave as well.  See you there.

Incidentally, we've reached the 20,000 hit mark on the HBMX website...woo hoo!
