Hot week news

Due to the number of riders and families heading to Pittsburgh for the National Race...and the local volunteers getting ready for the G-Town jam Saturday we will NOT be holding practice on Fri June 25.  We will be back in action for practices next week.  Check back for updates for the July 4th weekend.

Riversidebmx.org will be posting results and standings for the MD State Points Series as results are available.  See our SCHEDULE page for State Qualifiers schedule and requirements to be in the series!

Have a safe/fun weekend.  Good luck to our local riders in Southpark!

State Series

An updated schedule anf the Maryland State Points Series has been posted on our site and Riverside BMX website.  The revised rules/schedule include the following changes:

June 20th at HBMX will be a local make-up race for earlier cancelled locals

An additional State Qualifier race has been added at Riverside BMX on Aug 7

Riders can use State Qualifier and local races from either or both tracks to qualify for the series

We apoligize for any added confusion concerning the 2010 Maryland State Points Series.  Hopefully the revised schedule will allow more riders to participate in the series and race at the 2010 Maryland State Championship.

Wed
With rain yesterday and today, I'm pretty sure that track will be too muddy to ride tonight.  A few HBMX representatives will be on hand for some track prep and maybe some mowing.  Stop by if you're willing to lend a hand.

Due to a scheduling error, this Sunday's race originally posted as a State Qualifier will be replaced with a local race with a $10 entry fee.  Sorry for the confusion.

Wet Wednesday

Looks like a rainy day is expected.

Unless we post otherwise before 5, we'll make the assumption that practice is cancelled for this evening.   See you Friday?!

Tornado Sunday
Despite a few showers in the early afternoon, we made the decision to go ahead with the race!  We ended up with just 7 motos, but the action was great.  Highlights include Jason Everhart and Brandon Grimm pairing up for a killer halftime show.  Jimmy "Knievel" Jackson launchin' the step up, and some tight races in the 10 and under classes!  Marty will post pics ASAP.   Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped out!
