Reminders for the week!
Racing at HBMX this SUNDAY, Aug 1st. Gates open at noon, Racing starts at 2pm. $10 entry
Diane has scheduled
our back to School Night for Wed Aug 18. Free pizza to celebrate the summer and keep you motivated to do well in school!
HBMX will be open for practice on Tues. Aug 3 in cooperation with National Night Out. Cities around the country
are inviting you(and the kids) to get out of the house and discover what's going on around you. We'll be open from 5:30-8:30pm
Also
coming up in a few weeks, Our Simple Transport VW/Bicycle show. The show is held at the Fairgrounds as a fund-raiser
and open house for Hagerstown BMX. There will be show cars, bicycle and car parts swap meets, plenty of fun and even

Crazy Day State Qualifier
Crazy weather day today. Shortened up the day a bit, but we were not short on action. 14 Motos of bar bangin'
fun. We were able to get three motos done before the rain came. 50+ riders were able to squeeze some fun in before
mother nature slowed things a bit.
The State Final (Championship) at Riverside has been rescheduled for Saturday Sept
25 to allow some VA State riders to compete in both series'
Next race at HBMX is Sunday Aug 1st. See you

Sunday!
I don't know what was hotter, the temperature or the racin' action yesterday! The 20" Expert Class was a Banger
for sure! Cody Lynn came out victorious but he HAD to work for it! 40 Cruiser was a great head to head battle
with Ralph and Ian as well. New rider Brody "Boom Boom Huck" Nemoga stole the show in the 5 and unders.
Great time was had by all. And to top it all off, Jason Everhart Tailwhipped the huge double on the third straight during
the halftime show! BOOM!

Weeknight Race announced
HBMX will be holding it's first WEEKNIGHT race on Wed July 14! Registration is from 5:30-6:30 and races start at
7. $10 per class entry fee. Trophies awarded thru 4th place. Just like our Sunday races only a little less
hot!
This will take the place of our usual gate practice night, so spread the word.
