Our local double point Brandon Shrader Memorial race was a hot and humid success.  30+ riders including some first timers made it out to compete!  Pics will be up within a day or two.

Looking forward to another big race this weekend!  Our annual Brandon Shrader Memorial race is Sunday Aug 29th.  Registrstion begins at 12 noon and races start at 2pm.  $10 entry per class, and ALL riders will receive a special plaque award!  See you there!

The weekends State Qualifier finale was a pure success.  60+ riders at Riverside on Saturday and HBMX on Sunday!  Those riders with 2 qualifiers and 2 local races are eligible to compete in the 2010 State Championship at Riverside BMX on Sat Sept 25!

Also the Simple Transport VW/Bicycle show went off without a hitch on Saturday.  This HBMX fundraiser is in it's third year and had its largest turnout to date!  Final calculations aren't in but it appears that we raised well over $1000 for HBMX!  Thanks to allwho helped or participated!

 This Sunday (Aug 29th)  is our Brandon Shrader Memorial Race and it's a local double points event....don't miss it !

Race scheduled for today has been cancelled.  Rain this morning and more expected through the day.

 

We will be running a 2 moto local after next weekends State Qualifier for riders who need an extra local to qualify for the State Series.

The Brandon Shrader double points race will be held on Sun Aug 29th

Hopefully it will clear up for Pizza Party Wednesday Aug 18.  See you then.

With the rain last night and today practice for tonight has been cancelled.  The weekend weather looks like it will be good so we'll hopefully see you on Sunday (15th) for our next local.

We're off this weekend (No racing on Sun Aug 8th) but we'll be back in action next Sunday Aug 15.  Regular practice nights are Wed and Fri this week 5:30-dark

We've scheduled our School Pizza Party For Wed Aug 18.  Free pizza for all of the local riders and families while they last. 

Our Annual Family Picnic will be held after the races on Sunday Sept 26.  All families and riders are encouraged to attend.  HBMX will supply the main  course and drinks, while we ask that you bring a covered dish or dessert to share with everyone.

Many thanks to Diane Fulk who continues to voluteer many hours at the track and at home to keep things running smoothly and keeping kids involved at HBMX.  She's spear-headed the concession/picnic events that everyone enjoys so much!

Saturday Aug 21 is our (now annual) Simple transport VW/Bicycle show.  This event has been growing every year and this year it is going to be HUGE.  Air-Cooled Volkswagens show/swap, Bicycle show/swap, open house at the track and lots more.  Check it out or lend a hand to help make this Fund-raiser an even bigger success!

Our second MD State qualifier will be held on Sunday Aug 22.  We will be running a 2 moto local after the race for any last minute qualifiers since this is the cut-off date for local/qualifiers.
